Spray Foam Insulation for Garage Walls, Ceilings, HVAC, and Plumbing with 2lb Closed Cell Spray Foam

Is The Floor Above The Garage Ceiling Cold? Install 2lb Closed Cell Sprayfoam!

If the floor above your garage ceiling is cold during winters and hot during summers its due to insufficient insulation or the lack of insulation. The only solution to this problem is to insulate garage ceilings with 2lb closed cell sprayfoam. Installing fiberglass or 1/2lb open cell sprayfoam will NOT stop the problem.

How it Works? Our installers will sprayfoam the entire garage ceiling with 2lb closed cell sprayfoam. This includes all HVAC ducts, plumbing waterlines, tight corners, and the complete garage ceiling. A total of 5” of 2lb closed sprayfoam is required to properly insulated the garage ceiling. Installing 2”-3” of sprayfoam will not remedy the problem, the thickness must be 5” or greater.

How Does Our Garage Insulation Process Work?

At SPF Solutions, our experienced installers take pride in ensuring your garage is properly insulated for maximum comfort and energy efficiency. Here’s how we get the job done:

Comprehensive Inspection: We start by thoroughly inspecting your garage, paying close attention to areas that may need extra insulation, such as HVAC ducts, plumbing lines, tight corners, and other hard-to-reach spaces.

Application of 2lb Closed Cell Spray Foam: Our team will then apply 5 inches of 2lb closed cell spray foam to the entire garage ceiling. This includes sealing around all HVAC ducts and plumbing waterlines, ensuring that no air escapes through the cracks. The 5-inch thickness is crucial for maximum insulation—installing less than this won’t provide the desired results.

Immediate Results: After the spray foam is applied, it expands and hardens, immediately creating an airtight seal that prevents drafts and temperature imbalances. Your garage ceiling will now be properly insulated, ensuring comfort above and below.

Superior Insulation:  It has a higher R-value per inch compared to other insulation types, which means better performance and efficiency.

Moisture Resistance: It acts as a moisture barrier, helping prevent mold and mildew growth, especially in humid areas.
